At this level, the young singer has
demonstrated the ability to match pitch and sing in parts. Advanced
part singing skills, note reading, score reading, vocal techniques,
and performance readiness skills are emphasized. Students are expected
to spend a minimum of 3 hours per week independently reviewing their
choral music. Performance readiness skills include concentration,
memory work and ability to focus on the task at hand. Students will
have the opportunity to perform many concerts throughout the year. |
